Today we are looking at A2 Hosting, one of the many hosts out there we’re gonna go ahead and jump right into this review of A2 Hosting and see if it’s actually worth your time money and effort.

We’re gonna dig down deep to see if your company can actually benefit from it. Unlike other web hosting company, this one is a host that’s been around a while.

So, you know that they’re going to be sticking around awhile and that I know from several colleagues and friends I have that they highly recommend A2 Hosting. 

A2 Hosting provider is founded in 1999 and is located in the Michigan United States. This company has grown to a hundred plus employees and powers more than 300 thousand websites across the internet.

A2 Hosting currently has a global Alexa rank of 11751 which is a general measure of site popularity. A2 Hosting Alexa rank is fairly low, so it’s a popular site on the web.

However, when compared to some of the bigger hosting companies a – is much less used, yet don’t be fooled by popularity as this is not always a sign of quality.

 

1). A2HOSTING REVIEW – PRICING :

A2 Hosting does have quite a bit of variety as far as what you are able to choose as far as a hosting plan

1) Lite-The Lite plan starts at just $3.92 per month. With it comes 1 domain name, 5 subdomains, 5 databases, and 25 email accounts

2) Swift- The Swift plan starts at $4.90 per month. It allows you to host unlimited websites, databases and email accounts.

3) Turbo– This plan starts at $9.31 per month. With Turbo it supports unlimited domain names, databases and email accounts.

Each package offers slightly different features and limits Note that the prices you see here are when you pay 24 months up front so your plan is gonna cost slightly more if you plan on buying less for your initial Package

A2 hosting offers their users with 24,12 and 1-month hosting contracts so you’ll be able to buy any package that supports your current budget I’d recommend going with a swift plan since you’ll be able to host unlimited domains

However, keep in mind that after your plan renews the price will jump back up to the normal price which is generally higher than the ones displayed, however, I’ve been told by some hosts that you can request a discounted price if you’re renewing and many times they’ll gladly give it to you

At the very least I suggest going more than the basic plan as it only allows for one website and you’ll miss out on some freebies offer than the higher packages

 

2). A2HOSTING REVIEW – CUSTOMER SUPPORT :

A2 hosting like any good host has the options of Live Chat or calling for support and then opening a ticket Basically, you’re able to contact them for support in many ways It doesn’t limit to just one type of contact method

If you have a certain way of contacting through phone calls or if you prefer tickets I personally prefer to chat so the options that the fact that you have all of those options is great.

Their support representative are quick, responsive, knowledgeable, effective and trustworthy.

They’re always available 24/7/365 through chat, phone, email or ticket submission.

 

3). A2HOSTING REVIEW – UPTIME :

Uptime means the percentage of time that your hosting service is working properly and serving up your website to users

For obvious reasons, the Uptime is super important and critical when trying to determine to choose the best web host because the opposite – downtime – can literally cost you thousands per minute (well it depends on how valuable your site is).

Although they claim to have 100% uptime, sometimes it’s just not true Even though 100% can be achievable, it’s VERY rare A2 hosting managed to have an average uptime of 99.99% uptime and two minutes down.

However, keep in mind this test is not as effective as I hoped it would be due to only being over a 6 day period I believe a test like this would have to be done over at least a few months time span in order to produce more accurate results.

A2 Hosting boasts and claimed to have speeds of up to 20x faster than their competitors Well turns out they are actually not joking about it.

Their load time are instant and performs extremely well A2 hosting on one of our test domain averages a minimum load time of 2.05s
